Imagine a University celebrating its 215 years of its presence just last year? Yes, it’s possible! Kazan Federal University celebrated its 215th anniversary in 2019 and going strong. The KFU has been a pioneer in medical colleges participating in networking with their contemporaries in local and international levels. KFU, so far has 17 centers of excellence and as many as 80 world-class research and teaching laboratories. Kazan University has 290 cooperation agreements with partners from 64 countries and is a member of 15 International Academic Associations.
The many different recognized organizations and boards have certified all the degrees that are presented by the Kazan Federal University, including its MBBS degree. The degrees have received accreditation from the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Department of Education, the General Medical Council of Britain, the Medical Council of India-Board of Governors (MCI-BOG) and FAIMER.
The Kazan Federal University ranks 4th in Russia and 561th in the whole world. Despite being such an accomplished university, KFU’s admission process is quite hassle free and seamless. The Kazan Federal University admission process is based totally on the merit of the student. Students can also get direct admission in Kazan Federal University based on their academic performance only.
Just like any other Russian Medical Universities, KFU’s MBBS course duration is also 6 years; it includes 5 years of practical and theoretical education and 1 year of internship. Accommodation in KFU:
You are expected to apply separately for housing application, upon reaching Kazan, you will be provided with an apartment option. KFU offers two apartments for you to choose, in case you do not like both the apartments, KFU tells you to find your own accommodation. At least two weeks prior to your arrival in Kazan, you will be informed of the type of accommodation that KFU has reserved for you.
