Crimea State Medical University named after S. I. Georgievsky is the institution of higher medical education situated in Simferopol, Russia. Many independent agencies that evaluate Medical Institutions/universities have ranked CSMU as one of the best medical colleges in Russia. Although as CSMU, it was established in 1995, the institution is in existence since 1918. In 1931, the institution got separated from its parent group called Taurida University.
