Altai State Medical University (ASMU) is one of leading medical universities located in the southeast of Russia in Barnaul city, the capital of Altai Krai. The first doctor from ASMU graduated was in 1960, while the university was founded in 1954. The Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation acknowledge Altai State Medical University. The founder of the University himself is the part of Russian Federation. It is a state-financed foundation, entrenched in accordance with the applicable laws of the Russian Federation.
Altai State Medical University is supervised under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation at par with the decree of the Russian Government. Hostel fee includes accommodation, bedding, and furniture. 24 hours electricity, 24 hours cooking gas is provided in separate kitchen area. 24 hours hot and cold water supply is ensured along with centrally enabled heating system in all types of rooms. Most importantly, Indian Mess is available in Altai State Medical University for Indian students. Food is served for both lunch and dinner. Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food is cooked and served separately.
